We strive to be professional and take our roles seriously, but at the end of the day, we’re a group of volunteers juggling life, jobs, parenting, and everything else that comes with being human. We share this to set realistic expectations. While we aim for excellence, we also believe in grace, understanding, and focusing on the heart of our mission: supporting women with no judgment.

Join Our Board of Directors
Hot Mess Express is looking for passionate, engaged board members who genuinely believe in our mission and who aren't afraid to admit they're a bit of a hot mess themselves. We’re especially interested in individuals with experience in nonprofit leadership, board service, fundraising, community outreach, or related areas. Our board meets virtually quarterly, and members commit a minimum of 15 hours each quarter to fundraising and outreach efforts. Most importantly, we're looking for people who understand what we're building and want to help us grow it thoughtfully and sustainably.
Please note: To maintain clear separation between board governance and affiliate operations, we are unable to accept current Affiliate Coordinators (ACs) or Community Coordinators (CCs) as board members.
