The dedicated women who help guide and sustain Hot Mess Express.
Brittinie is the Founder and President of Hot Mess Express. Since 2021, she has led the organization’s growth, structure, and national expansion, guiding it from its earliest days into an established nonprofit serving women across the country. She also hosts the podcast Girl, Same, where she shares honest conversations about the real side of womanhood. At home in North Carolina, she’s raising three children alongside her husband of over 10 years - an experience that continues to shape both her work and her voice.
Danielle is a wife and a mother of two beautiful girls. She lives in Walkertown just outside of Winston Salem. Danielle puts her heart and soul into developing and molding kids each school year. She's kind, generous, and witty with a heart of gold. Danielle enjoys reading, exercising with a focus on running, but most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.
Tina Brant
Tina is a busy mom and nurse who vividly remembers feeling overwhelmed—and even embarrassed to ask for help—when her twins were little. Now that they’re older, she wants other moms to know that it’s okay to not be okay. Asking for help is a superpower. As a member of the Hot Mess Express from day one, she’s passionate about sharing the love and fostering a sense of belonging for moms just like her.
Kayla is a mama bear of two and was the second mom ever helped by HME. She has been a part of the team since. "I will forever be indebted to HME, they are my family and I support the mission with my whole heart."
Jessie Niewohner
Board Member
Jessie grew up in a small town, and with a big family close where everyone helped everyone, a built in village. Living states away from family now, she learned that is harder to find. Until, she found Hot Mess Express. She started volunteering in 2022 and quickly knew this could be her village. Being a part of Hot Mess Express has filled a space in her life to be something outside of motherhood and work.
Dayna Adamowicz
Board Secretary
Dayna is a wife and mom of two crazy boys. She joined Hot Mess Express a few years after moving to North Carolina in hopes of finding herself again after getting a bit lost in motherhood. Since volunteering at her first few missions, she has loved being able to help out behind the scenes with her business experience. When not working, mothering or volunteering, Dayna can be found listening to audiobooks, tending to her houseplants or playing a cozy video game.
Raneesha Rollins
Raneesha has a passion for volunteering and serving her community. She’s been a resident of the Triad since arriving to attend UNCG in 2007. Currently, she serves as President of the PTO and assists with a weekly mentoring program at her daughter’s school, in addition to attending every HME mission she’s able. Raneesha began volunteering with HME in 2021 and has earned a title as “Kitchen Queen.” Through this organization Raneesha has found a group of like-minded women who understand the value of community support.
